Has anyone ever played through a Fender amp with the vibrato footswitch engaged?  If so what's it like?  Is that effect on any classic recordings?

Tremolo

I've been reading about this lately. The early vibrato on fender amps is the same as tremolO, they just used a different word.

I've seen some discussion about whether Walter Horton used an electronic tremolo effect on the Easy record (sun 180). More of an argument perhaps.

i recently had a play about with tremolo on an amp for just that song, and I must say I'm less certain than I was about the question.

would I use tremolo? Maybe. I wouldn't rule it out completely but it's something I'd want to have a specific purpose for, not use just on spec. It gets old quickly I think, with harp.
