Hi Dave...so, I am working on vibrato, which is taxing and challenging to my 40 year marriage, however, with promises that i can only practice this for a maximum of five minutes a day, we have come to an understanding that if I master this technique i can sound more like Dave, maybe.  On that note, when I use Harp Ninja while making "wounded cat-like sounds" should I be seeing a total change in pitch, that is, moving from an F to an E on a Bb harp 2 draw?  Oh, and thanks for the pseudo marriage counciling.  Mic

Hah. I often tell my students

Hah. I often tell my students that the people who hear you the most, appreciate you the least! She's a saint :-)

You'll commonly see only a slight change in pitch. With practice, you can make the pitch change as much as you want (I can perform a vibrato on the three draw that swings in pitch all the way down to 3'''). I would say you're looking at a quartering pitch change in all. When using Harp Ninja you'll see it move from green to red, sometimes kicking to the lower square.
