Hi David I m woking on the vibrato , I ve been doing tremolo last 10 years so that skill is strong enough, burst when I practice on the vibrato (tongue blocking) when I practice without the harmonica I get the move of the tongue with the throat moving as an engine , but when i put the harmonica and the tongue touches the harmonica instead of start moving the tongue it starts moving my cheek , and i dont get the vibrato I only get the tremolo how can I adjust this?

Also when i move my tongue close of the point of bending I cant get the vibrato because instead of movement of the tongue it starts moving the cheek

Answer

Hmmm... this is a case where I need to hear you. Send me a recording of you playing a couple of different tremolos and then the same notes with vibrato (moving your cheek). You can do this via "Submit Your Recording for Feedback," found at the bottom of most of the lesson pages.
