Hello, GeorgeBoth of those

Hello, GeorgeBoth of those mics will do fine with 100K, 250K or 500K pots. 250K is ideal.

As for linear vs audio taper..... I'll be honest. I've always felt lucky just to find a pot in the value I want, in the size I want, with the shaft diameter I want, the shaft style I want, the bushing depth I want and the bushing diameter I want........ The last thing to worry about is taper. Both work fine in practice. I use mostly linear taper pots because that is what has been available that meet my other criteria. As long as the value is right to begin with, the adjustment will be smooth and easy to manage.

Cheers!
