David,

I'm selecting a song for LOA3, Accompaniment 3, Example 2.3, and was thinking of Used to Be My Baby, as I'm looking for something a bit faster and really love boogie woogie too. Is this a good fit for 2.3? Does this qualify as a 12-bar blues even though it's boogie woogie? Also, I can't seem to find accompanying sheet music for this mp3 recording. I can try to wing it but would rather have sheet music to know for certain what chord I'm supposed to play in.

Thanks in advance,

Ace

Hello Ace. "Used to Be My

Hello Ace. "Used to Be My Baby" is just fine. Yes, this is a twelve bar blues (Boogie Woogie is a groove type, not something that depicts a different form). It's a standard twelve bar blues, so no sheet music is needed. There is a four-bar intro, so start after that guitar opening (the form begins right after the drum pickup, when the entire band comes in).
