Hi Kinya

A lot of my harmonicas are becoming somewhat flat in certain holes.

I will use cleartune or harp ninja to a get an approximate initial tune-up. Is there anything else that I should do or check before doing a quick retune?

Thanks

Hi Border Collie Reference

Hi Border Collie

  1. Reference your favorite tuning charts from past Harp Tech Series (downloadable pdf)
  2. Calibrate your chromatic tuner to 442Hz
  3. Tune your octaves to "no beat"
  4. Condensation and saliva build up will detune your reeds--so don't forget to blow, knock out, and/or swab frequently the moisture off the reeds

Your Harpsmith, Kinya
