The tune chart for different types of tuning shows - or+ is it how many cents I have to add or take off based on 442? So let's say some draw hole shows plus 5 so do I calibre the tuner to 447?

Hz, Cents

Hi Diego, good to hear from you.

Keep the chromatic tuner set to 442Hz and watch the "cents" dial move b/# to tune your reeds.

I strongly recommend viewing (reviewing) Harp Tech Studies #3 and #7, dedicated to the topic of tuning. This can be found on the left column under "New Equipment"

  1. select "view all equipment"
  2. select "Harmonicas"
  3. select the Harp Tech Study topic that interests you at the moment.

Your Harpsmith, Kinya
