Hey there kinya,

 

i'm looking in hohner's website and as the headline says i'm trying to understand Hohner's tuning chart. can you perhaps explain? or direct me to an explanation of their own cause I can't find it on their website :)

Hello Crazy, This 12 hole

Hello Crazy,

This 12 hole diatonic harmonica (Steve Baker I believe) is essentially a 10 hole D tuned harmonica with two holes added to the bottom. This gives the player 4 more standard notes--one full octave LOWER.

This is super cool, because now you have access to four full octaves on a diatonic harmonica!
