Hi David,

With regards to Garys Blues, I'm not understanding the concept of Triplet Quarter Notes. Is there any way of showing in written format or describe where the beat lands in relation to the quarter notes.

Thankyou for your help,

Regards,

Paul

Answer

Triplet quarters are no doubt a challenge. Take a look at http://www.bluesharmonica.com/lessons/rhythm_training, Section 2, Example 13. This should be of help. If you need further assistance let me know.
