Hi Kinya,

Just a heads up.  I know it's been a few years, but most of the links on your tools lists either don't work or the parts are unavailable.  I've been able to hunt down most of the tools from the reed replacement unit but I'm not sure what I need for the Drill Bits and Taps section.

Here's the list you provide

1) Micro-Mark (#14144CD) #52 Clearance Drill Bit for 0-80 bolt to pass through

http://www.micromark.com/-52-clearance-drill-for-0-80,6512.html

2) Micro-Mark (#14145TD) #55 Tap Drill Bit to create a pilot hole for 0-80 Tap

3) Micro-Mark (#14145T) 0-80 Tap to make threads

I've managed to find the other stuff on the list for the most part but I can't find any of these items or the sanding wands.  Also, what punch do I need?  I can't find a punch anywhere on the lists.

PS. Your videos are great.  I'm just trying to track down the tools so that I can actually put the wonderful videos to use.

Thank you,

Taylor

Sweet. Thank you!  I'm making my big chekout cart list on Micro-Mark.  Before I pull the trigger on ordering all this stuff, would you prefer this over the Hohner Instant Workshop Kit?  I mostly play Hohner brand nowdays anyway, and it looks like they it has some features that would help out maintainence also for my chromatic harmonicas too (windsaver punch), etc...  It's around $270 I think.

Hi Taylor

You'll discover, as your confidence grows with your Harp Tech work, so will your tool inventory. I have acquired tools from every imaginable source.

As for pre-packaged tool kits, it will be inevitable to duplicate a few tools. This is not a bad thing, because you can build a traveling tool set for your gig bag.

Your Harpsmith, Kinya
