Hi David,

I am learing how to do tongue splits using Tongue Block Study 1, Ex. 1.1 but am having a lot of difficulty sounding some of the notes without bringing in other unintentional notes. For instance, when attempting to sound 2+ and 5+ together, I seem to be sounding 1+ also, even though I am trying to reduce the width of my mouth almost to a pucker shape. Any tips to get this right please?

Thanks,

Mark.

Tongue splits

Thanks David. I thought of a tongue block trainer before I posted on the forum. Now you have confirmed its usefulness. I'll look into getting one.

Mark.
