Tongue Blocking etude #2 Temperature question

Hi David! YET another question, this time about the chorus #4 in the study song Temperature, I have a little trouble with the articulation of the upbeat 1 2 3 draw chords. It's OK to use the T or K articulation to "separate" that chord from the tongue slap note that lands in the beat 1? I find hard to do 2 in breaths consecutively + the tongue slap. Thanks in advance.

Hello Norlo28. In this case

Hello Norlo28. In this case keep working on the two short breaths (one for the chord and the other for the slap). This is setting you up to do an articulation in Tongue Block Study 3 (the technique is called a Pull). So, don't worry if it's not well separated, just a slight bump in volume for the chord and then the slap is okay.
