Hi David, I'm trying since some months to tongue block with a tong position of 11 as you explain in your videos. I can't achieve yet to make it work...but if I block the right side of the mouth "playing" the hole in my left lip boundary it seems to work...and i can play scales up and down.

But I'm worried that doing so perhaps i will have it difficoult for doing other required techniques.

Could you please tell me if I'm ok like this or not?

I also wanted to thanks you for doing the videos with your fiancee. Is difficult for a woman to feel welcome in a new activity when you don't see any of your ones. And i definitively think they are many out there wanting to do this step :)

Thanks in advance for your answer

Beatriz from Berlin Europe.

Hello Beatriz. I'm glad

Hello Beatriz.

I'm glad you're enjoying the lessons with Sharon.

Playing with the tongue to right will unfortunately not work (except for playing hole 1)... as you stated, we need the tongue to the left for the techniques that are to come.

Can you mirror what you're doing when your tongue is to the right?

Also, have you tried using thee Filisko Tongue Block Trainer... or made one for yourself? It may be what you need to get this dialed in, to be able to see it.
