Hello,

I've been training the score Walk With Me for a week now and I think I'm doing all right, having a lot of fun. My tone is quite good, but I really can't play a nice vibrato as is heard in the MP3 recordings. When I play the notes they are loud and flat, but when I hear the recording it sounds so relaxed and with 'soul'. Can you give me some tips on how to play with volume (how do I control it) and how to properly do the vibrato?

Hello tandeitnik. There is a

Hello tandeitnik. There is a more detailed lesson on tremolo here https://www.bluesharmonica.com/lessons/tremolo_and_vibrato, I recommend you start with this.

In regards to controlling volume (dynamics), there is a lesson here https://www.bluesharmonica.com/lessons/dynamics. You’ll find this lesson to both be fun, and help in the area of controlling your volume level.

Work on this for a bit and then send me a recording of your tremolo while playing the first chorus of Walk With Me. Having a recording is the best way for me to give you personalized tips for your playing.

Thanks for the videos! Since they are Level 4 I will postpone them and I will focus on my tone instead in the embellishments!

You can study them now,

You can study them now, they're in Level 4 for other reasons. The only thing you won't be able to play is the final example in the Tremolo and Vibrato lesson (since is has challenging bends), but you can gain from al the instruction.
