Dear teacher

when I arrived at the minor chords section, I became a little confused. To play on the G Minor jam track with triads 1-G-Bb-D-F. 4-C-Eb-G-Bb. 5-D-F-A-A, should I use my C harp 2nd position minor in myxolidian or my Bb harp 4th position in minor and start on the hole 3 '' ?

Thank you

Hello Mr Bourgeois. You can

Hello Mr Bourgeois. You can play on any harmonica (any position) where those notes are available and you're comfortable soloing. Since you're most comfortable playing in 2nd Position, then yes, grab that C Harmonica and use the appropriate bends to play those notes.

Yes, use a G Minor jam track.

Yes, use a G Minor jam track. You're close... not the Mixolydian scale, but the Minor Scale... G A Bb C D Eb F G. Since Eb is hard to come by, just skip that note. As the Minor Lesson on the site teaches, the blues scale is a great choice.

Nope, you can't play the

Nope, you can't play the Mixolydian Scale... it has a major 3rd and major 6th (minor has a lowered 3rd and 6th)

You also can't use the Dorian Scale... it has a major 6th (minor has a lowered 6th)

Stick to the minor scale (because in you're in minor) or the Blues Scale
