Hi Dave,

I have bought the book and CD set in the student version. It's nice but we haven't the responses...
I have also bought the program EMT version 3 (both for Mac and PC). It is very nice too.

Hello Eddy. Let me know what you thought after you finish it. What do you mean when saying "It's nice but we haven't the responses..."

What I mean

David,

The word "response" wasn't perhaps a good choice. Sorry, I'm still studying English! I just mean that there isn't the answers at the questions on the CDs. On the other hand, with the software you can control if you are right or not.
The content of the software seems to be the same than the books. I'll keep you posted with my progressing and my remarks

Hank,

Here is the link where you can find the EMT software I bought :

Progress Report and Remarks

Hello David,
I confirm that the software content is the same than the books. I finished the Unit 1 of the first book. It sounds to me as child's play perhaps because I've already learned that but in French. So it enables me to study the English vocabulary.
As I said in my previous post, I prefer the software because it permit me to control if I'm right or not.
I work also with EarMaster Pro but I don't like it too much because there are midi sounds and it contents only exercises without any explanation of the theory. In the EMT software, the ear training is done with real instruments like on the CDs. I can already say that your tip has been beneficial to me.
