Hi David,

I just started to recongnize blues progression (Level 2)

Temperature 1st chorus, bar 5-6 should be in chord "IV", which is "C", which is +1 or +4 or +7 or +10. But you have +5 as the main note.

3rd chorus, bar 5-6 again, should be in "C", but you have +2 as the main note.

What am I missing?

Hello RB. You've studied root

Hello RB. You've studied root notes so far, which is the best place to start. As you continue through your studies you'll learn about three-note, and eventually four-note chords. The E is part of the C Chord. The full C chord is C E G Bb. E is known as the 3rd of the chord (three notes up in the scale from the root) and is a great-sounding note.
