3rd Position Study 7, our last study for 3rd Position, is now on the site. In this study we'll continue our minor playing to develop more valuable lick vocabulary.

3rd Position Studies 4 & 5 are now up.

3rd Position Study 4 teaches how to play 3rd Position in the jump and swing blues style. Heavy focus is on how to use the lower octave with major arpeggio runs.

3rd Position Study 5 focuses on how to play with a real bluesy feel... something 3rd Position does really well.

I just put together a small position chart (1st, 2nd and 3rd Position) for you to print out and place into your harp case.
