My focus is on three very important subjects right now: improvising, theory and accompaniment playing. Once these are completed, my focus will be on adding material to the beginning section of the website where needed.

Bought my Marine Band C harmonica a couple of months ago and have been fooling around on it for a while without making much progress. I was excited to see a Facebook link this morning that offered me 21 days of free lessons because of my recent Hohner purchase.

I get here, go through the signup drill and what do I see for my first beginner lesson-- Get out your A harmonica. We might use your C harmonica later. In fact, why don't you go out and buy a bunch of other harmonicas.

Just returned from the Hornby Island Blues Workshop - four days of workshops for guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and harp players along with vocalists - all in the blues genre. I'm now working for Harrison Harmonicas. Richard Sleigh and I will be working out of our own shops helping with the current backlog. I'll still be customizing Seydel Harmonicas... in fact I'm as busy as ever now that the weather has brightened up. For those of you that are making the trip to Steve Baker's Harmonica Masters Workshop in Trossingen, Germany, join me for dinner at 6pm at the Hotel Traub (my favorite Italian restaurant) in the back room Friday night. Looks killer.

Anyone else trying to play the advanced chromatic song The Big One. Where are you and what do you find difficult. My biggest problem is the fake octaves and playing it to speed.

after playing harmonica for 1 year en 2.5 weeks now I record my fist 4 video's with a friend.
