Hi David

I'm learning 'take it easy' and am not surprisinglay finding the 5 draw bend a little tricky.

I have been using the Harp Ninja and am wondering if you could help with the level of how deep I should go in the bend.

Playing the 5 draw un-bent position has the 5 Draw showing green with the pointer dead on 12 o'clock (all the other holes are @ 10 past the hour). So first I was wondering if the reed is slightly flatter than the other holes.

When trying to Bend I am getting the usual bend and then release of not being able to yet hold the bend, I'm expecting that I'll Get better at that - however I'm. It sure I have the bend at the correct time and am worried that I'm trying to get it to go too deep.  The pointer goes anti-clockwise red and goes to @ 20 to the hour.

Could you advise on the depth of the bend I should be looking at trying to achieve?

Many Thanks

Richard

Hello Richard. Red is what

Hello Richard. Red is what you're going for... with time you'll be able to light up the 5+ a little bit. Be careful of playing too loudly... it's easy to kill the 5 draw and 5 blow reeds with excessive bending practice.
