Hey Dave!, was wondering if you have thought of compiling a on going list of suggested reading? I've read a couple of the books you qoute in your "Tip of the Day" and although I'm very much an novice I have benefited greatly from the intellectual endevor. Thanks!

No, I am not planning on doing that. Students freak out when I recommend too much stuff... and to be truthful most don't spend enough time practicing and I don't want to send them off into too many tangents. This is why I quote the important stuff for you guys. I think the books that are pretty cool are...

Harmonica History
1) Harmonicas, Harps, and Heavy Breathers: The History of the Harmonica and Its Role in American Music by Kim Field
2) Blues with a Feeling: The Little Walter Story by Tony Glover, Scott Dirks and Ward Gaines (Jun 30, 2002)

Music & Science
1) Moonwalking with Einstein by Joshua Four
2) This is Your Brain on Music by Dan Levitin

Music Theory
1) Alfreds Complete Music Theory

As long as you're doing your "do-diligence" in the practice room, I agree... I eat the other stuff up as well :-) Keep having fun with it, I don't mean to stop your growth.
