Hi Skip,

Is this a good candidate for a small harp amp ?
Tubes are 6SJ7 (2), 6J5,6N7, 6L6 (2), 5U4G

Thanks,
Wendell

Answer

Hello Wendell- That model is actually close to thirty watts and VERY loud, almost as powerful as a tweed Bassman, which would make it bit too much for most players. It could be done, but it would require a ton of work and a lot of modification to get the gain down. I've restored and modded probably 15 model 20s, but they were for guitar use.
