why do my upper draw reeds not play (stick I guess) a lot. They seem to do it more when I play blow bends but will do it without playing bends also? The worst ones seem to be 8 and 9 holes.

Hi Kurt, good to hear from

Hi Kurt, good to hear from you.

It appears the factory gapping on your harmonica does not perfectly match your playing style. I would recommend setting the blow and draw gap (on the free ends of the reeds) to .004".

Please refer to our Harp Tech Studies #4 for detailed "how to do" instructions. From the top of this web site page, select EQUIPMENT, then scroll down to HARMONICAS, then select Harp Tech Series #4 Reed Gapping.

Let the readers know your results!
