Hello All

I'd like to start dipping my toes into amplified playing; I'm leaning towards a Bulletini mic with VC, and would like to build my set-up around that. A smaller amp is preferable--the purpose would be primarily to play/learn in my practice room, with a secondary goal of using it to jam with others. I'm a long way from playing on a stage, so that's not really a consideration at this point.

I use garage band on a MacBook for recording lessons here if that's relevant.

Do I need anything beyond a mic, cord, and amp? I'm willing to spend to get the right set-up, but I'm not looking for pedals and other accessories yet, unless it's necessary to start using them now.

No thats all you need mic, cord, amp and practice . Delay or reverb are the common pedals people use, its nice to have one when playing at home for alittle wet sound. when ever I play with people I dont use pedals just mic straight in to amp.
