After looking through the Equipment page/Amp Reviews, the Sonic Pipe Windy City was rated the best small amp. However, I believe this review was done in 2013(?). So, in 2023, is the Sonic Pipe Windy City still the top rated, under $500 small amp out there? I'm hoping to buy soon, and would love to have a small amp with great tone right out of the box.

Thanks,

Marty

Hi Marty, I bought one a

Hi Marty,

I bought one a couple of years ago and love it. It has killer tone tone, especially when used with a vintage CR mic, and is perfect for home/studio/ smal venue.

Thanks Saul

'Preciate the reply, Saul. You said the magic words I wanted to hear, "killer tone." I had to ask because all too often manufacturers change their products and our small harmonica community loses out. Like when Laney discontinued the Cub 10. I'll likely pull the trigger on a Windy City and get it ordered this week.

Thanks again,

Marty
