Do we have any other gals here learning harmonica? Nothing against you guys, but I have a tip I thought I would share for the ladies.

I have often wondered what the women pros do for lipstick when performing because most lipstick I would think would gum up the harps. I did a search on it and I only found one reference and it was a suggestion for Blistex Lip Infusion. I bought some and it is a good alternative to lip balm... it's a clear roll-on liquid which is not waxy or sticky... but it does not add color.

So yesterday I was in Sally Beauty and I came across something called a lip stain marker under the brand Palladio. It's perfect! It is long-lasting color, goes on a little wet, but then it dries and you are left with just color. If you wanted a little shine you could apply the Blistex Lip Infusion over it. One warning though... the colors do turn out a little darker when you put it on than how it looks in the tube.

I certainly won't be performing anytime soon, but now I have no excuse not to practice when I have lip color on! If any of the other ladies here have another lip color solution, I'd love to hear it.
