I have a questions on Chording ex 1.2

When I do the 123 draw cord and move to the +234 blow cord, am I to do a tongue block on the 1 hole when blowing the +234 cord?  I can get it to sound like your examples but just want to make sure I am learning the proper technique.

By the way I can tongue block single notes very well as I started learning that way.  Just never really worked much on cords until now.

Thanks in advance.

Hello Schook. No, just move

Hello Schook. No, just move your mouth over to play holes 2 through 4 (tongue stays off of the harmonics).

Thank you for the

Thank you for the clarification.

Yes, two-note combinations should be tongue blocked as well. If you're playing 3 with 4, then you commonly block 1 and 2.

It's not as common to slap two-note combinations (they're most commonly dipped), but you absolutely can if you wish.

There are no two-note combinations in Solo Harmonica Study 1, Ex. 2.2 – Shuffle 2, just slaps and pulls (pulls are tough in Tongue Block Study 3).
