Helo David.

Some of my friends(beginners) ask me if I can write to you and ask if slippery hands is common problem with beginners?

I remember that I have had some problems when I started with slippery hands (even now sometimes when i am nervous) ....when playing in front of people.... than is a little bit difficult to hold harmonica in a proper way...

Thanks For your Answer :)

Hello tovarnica. I'm sorry, I have not observed this with just holding the harmonica. I have seen it when holding a bullet mic. Chrome is the worst, and generally any slick paint job. The key is to not "hold" the mic with your left hand, but balance it between your two hands. Lesson on it here http://www.bluesharmonica.com/lessons/cupping_hand_effects
