Hello David,

I'd like to know why there are so few slaps on that song, and how or why do you choose where to use slaps. Thank you !

Hello miggyb00gie. The Strut

Hello miggyb00gie. The Strut is a rock beat (straight eighths). Though rock beats can use slaps, they tend to use less than shuffles (swing eighths), swings, and slow blues.
