Dave, before I get any deeper into my lessons, I just wanted to ask you, How do I know when to play a slap or a pull? Maybe I heard you explain it before, on one of your videos, but I just cant remember. Thanks Dan

Answer

Hey Dan. Slap when it sounds good to you, or when you hear someone else use a slap. As for the pull, in the notation it's a stack of notes with slashed note heads... reference the Notation Chart PDF listened for each lesson. I know you're also working on Solo Harmonica Studies... I usually mention the pulls in the video as I'm teaching.
