Dear David,

Could you clarify on the difference between the two learning approaches, Skill level Vs LOA?. Also, why the lessons in LOA has one more additional lesson from level 4 and the quick reference has movement exercise study 2 listed under level 1?

Under Lessons by Skill level - Level 1 we have.

1. Blues fundamental

2. Tongue Blocking level 1

3. Solo Harmonica level 1

4. Music Theory level 1

Under Level 1 - Levels of Achivement

1. Blues fundamental

2. Tongue Blocking level 1 - Walk with me study song

3. Solo Harmonica level 1

4. Music Theory level 1

5. Movement Exercises - Study 1 (this is found in Lessons : By Skill Level - Level 4)

Under Quick Reference Guide - Level 1

1. Blues Harmonica Fundamentals (No Submission Required)

2. Tongue Block Study 1 "Walk with Me" (Recorded to Jam Track)

3. Solo Harmonica Study 1 Examples 1.1 to 1.7 (Ex. 1.2, 1.4 and 1.7 Recorded with Metronome)

4. Movement Exercises Study 2 C Major Scale 4+ to 7+ (this is found in Lessons : By Skill Level - Level 5)

5. Music Theory Study 1 Section 1 (Fill in PDF Test Form)

Hello Sandeep. In LOA I grab

Hello Sandeep. In LOA I grab from different parts of the website to make up what I feel is a complete, broad lesson plan for a student. Sometimes I'll grab a piece from a later lesson... a portion that's not too advanced, but I feel the student will benefit from. The Quick Reference Guide I'm more specific, so the student knows exactly what to submit to me for LOA review. For example, in LOA I tell the student to work on Solo Harmonica Study 1, of which all the material is at their skill level, so a student can study the entire lesson if they wish. For the LOA submission though, I'm specific in exactly what I'm look for... in this case you can choose from Examples 1.1 through 1.7.
