Folks, I'm quite new to harmonica and blues music.

Listened recently to Junior Wells's 1 album "Hoodooman Blues". Liked the groove/rythm a lot. Especially in songs: "Snatch it back and hold it" and "Chitlin con carne".

Can you tell how this groove is called? To me sounds like a slow rock and roll:)

Would you recommend some other harp players with his style/groove/rythm?

Thanks,

Gary Smith "Tribute to Jr." from the "It Takes Three" CD with Dave Barrett, Aqui

"Chitlin con Carne" sounds more minor to me. Ask Winslow for more in-depth info on the grooves.
