Hi

I bought Pro Harm MS C harmonica. But when i see first materials for level 1 there's a note that A harmonica is needed. Could you please tell me

1) Should i buy additional harmonica for A?

2) If yes, what additional harmonicas except for A are needed.

Thanks.

You will definitely need more

The C harmonica is a good start and can help play many popular tunes. However you will need more keys the more and different songs you play, especially in blues.

1. Yes, if you start LOA an A harp is required. Also A is used in many blues songs and is useful to have.

2. In addition to the A and C; a LF, G, Bb, and D will help round things out. These six keys are the most commonly used. These are also used throughout the LOA program. If you do not want to get all of them right away, at least pick up the G first. The rest you can get later.

As far as additional keys, that's up to you and what songs you may want to play that don't use the six above. I have an F, E, and Eb. Some guys like the low keys. Buying harmonicas can be addictive. I have more than I really need.

Have fun
