Tongue Block Boogie

Something I did for the jam at HarmonicaBoogie with a bt by "NotSureYet". Lots of good free bt's there if you are looking.

After a couple of tries at the local Sunday jam. I'm trying to work up more courage to use vocals. This is a safe venue so pretty simple lyrics and a total TB effort to pay homage to the bt title and what I've learned from David. Nothing too fancy but it was fun to put together. Also an opportunity to learn blending tracks in Garage Band. As always, appreciate any comments.

What a fun song Hank. Great vocals, harp and who can argue with the lyrics! ;-) Keep singing, I think you sound great.
Tongue Block Boogie
Hank thats just awesome-I'm lost for words!! David should have this as the theme for this website.Fantastic demonstration of tongue blocking skills-great vocals!
Thanks All!!
Thanks For the comments folks. I was thinking of developing it further and with the response, will try to expand on it - but with no mention of the other method(s) so jodanchuck can relax ;-)
Quality!
Great song Hank! Get this up on Youtube- it's bound to attract tons of hits! I like the "lazy" sound and humourous lyrical approach- Lou Reed meets Sonny Boy II !
You have very strong sound
You have very strong sound and your vocal is very laidback and cool! Good work!! The lyrics is funny :)
Tongue Block Boogie
A blues song with lyrics about tongue blocking - that's some cool postmodern stuff! Let's face it, 'pucker' is less catchy and much riskier to rhyme... ahem.
The singing definitely works; you should be a lot more confident about that because it fits the song perfectly. The harp playing is spot on too - a great advert for tongue blocking!
Thanks
Thanks jodanchuck - yeah maybe riskier to use "pucker" but think of the great limerick possibilities ;-))
This was a fun one and I enjoyed learning how to comp myself with the Garage Band tracks.
