Swingin' "The Big One"

A bit of fun here. Working on "The Big One," but having trouble keeping up with the rock blues tempo on David's backing track for it, and not anywhere close to nailing the two choruses in the middle on diatonic. So ... here are the eight chromatic choruses only, to a slower swing backing track. Equipment: Backing track through a Roland Cube30 amp; Hohner C CX12 chromatic through an Ultimate 57 mic and Danelectro FAB delay pedal into a Lone Wolf Blues HarpTrain amp; both amps caught by a Shure MV5 mic into my iPhone. (Low roar from the family washing machine just down the hall added at no extra charge.) Have a swingin' Thanksgiving, everyone!

Great job, Rob! That flat tire shuffle backing track sure goes well with the harp part, and at this tempo eight choruses is sufficient, more might be a tad too long. This seems like a fun way to "practice" for a faster tempo, if you are able not to swing it later to the rock beat :)

Happy Thanksgiving!
