Columbian Insanity Chillies

Written and recorded in Sydney by a singer song writer (Garren Staines) who asked me to sit in with harp. Improvised on the spot in the studio. It isn't the blues but then if someone really digs the sound of harmonica then as a player I think its a good challenge to try to give them the sound they are looking for. This was my first time in a studio and I had no idea of what Garren was going to produce or what was expected of me - as a result I played cautiously favoring less over more.

Sonny Terry is probably the first harmonicaplayer that caught my attention but he's never been a big influence on my playing. I tried to play an original song based on Terry's style. I didn't do any whoops that Sonny Terry use to do, simply because I'm not very good at it..

played in 2nd position on Hohner Crossover in A

Recorded live, my guitarist, I feel does an excellent job on this but he thought it needed the harp. I had played it in the past strictly Junior Wells style so to keep this a guitar featured song I put two somewhat short solo's in the song hope you like it. Thanks

Recorded this original cut in 97 for my first cd titled Juke Joint.
Inspired by Jerry"Boogie"McCain's recording of Steady except I have turnarounds
in this recording.Recorded on my 66 Princeton [non reverb] with a 12in 64 Jensen c12r speaker and used a JT30 mic. it was a one take in the moment recording.

Hello!
This is what I did with Steve Baker's "Feelgood Thrash".
For the first time I blew harmonica in March 2011, I was 44 then. I had had no musical experience before that time.
I'm open to any critique, comments and remarks.
