Nice, relaxed, laid-back feel. I like the extra ornamentation, too. Just enough to make it "yours." Sounds like you might have played this tune a few times.

As far as the amp sound...I think it's kind of cool...almost-acoustic sounding at (the right) times, but richer and "electric" often enough to keep it interesting. Dynamics work well, too.

Whenever I play it, I sound tense and overexcited. You've inspired me to try again.

Yeah I've played it a few times ;). My girlfriend can't get the head out of her head!  She hasn't left me yet though.....

I recorded it with my Masco MA-17 from Skip Simmons, like you're getting.  The recording sounded a bit raspier than what I heard in the room, so I re-recorded it with the mic farther away from the speakers and I think that sounds better.  I'm picking up a weird echo from the skylight shaft in my aparment though.  I probably still laid on too much GarageBand echo also.  It's a great amp though.  Recording is voodoo.

Excellent version Walterjuke! always great to listen a good rendition of Juke but what grabs me is hearing your own voicing throughout and I think the amped sound here lends itself to that voice. Thanks for sharing!
