That Man You've Been Loving

Little ditty with acoustic harp (solo in the middle, and outro). In F (second position, Bb harp)
Performed and produced in quarantine by only a very talented friend (T.A. James, one-time bass player for Carey Bell, and all round musical genius) and myself. Done piecemeal from our homes, we never spoke or saw each other during the production of this.
The process started by picking a chord progression, in this case an 8-bar similar to "Ain't Nobody's Business," which evolved somewhat, then adding a bridge. T.A. laid down all the tracks except vocal and harp.
I wrote the lyrics and melody. I "sing" and play harp on it. Nothing fancy. Going for understated.
We both recorded directly into our computers (he used PreSonus Studio One and Cakewalk software, and I used Studio One). We sent tracks back and forth, modifying them (based on each other's changes and additions) until we decided we had "done enough." I wrote the melody, and sang and played harp. We've done eight or nine tunes this way so far. Not nearly as fun as playing "out," but better than nothing, and educational and interesting in its own way.
