Hi Lucky Harp

I am familiar with 2nd pos, and a little bit with 3rd pos. Never played 5th pos...

David proposed to use licks from My BLues studysong (2nd pos).... I tried to use this song but found out it did not really match with the emotions of the CInderella song.

So.... it would be extremely helpful to me if you could pass me some sample licks which I could listen to.... then I have at least a starting point to invest further.....would you be able to record something and upload to this site?

Ok give me your email

Hi Luckyharp

Sorry for the late reply, just back from some holidays.

Thanks for your reply.Would you be able to post what you propose (perhaps some recording?) , then I can give it a try.... ? To give an idea about my level: I am working on the Levels of Achievement 4-5-6, so from that perspective I am at Intermediate level.

Best regards

Joris

the original key is G minor.

the original key is G minor. If you wanna play it in 3rd position you should use a F harp, quite hard to control.

You could play on 2nd position on a C harp but with few note option, using the blues scale.

You could play on 5th position on a Eb harp, less crispy than the F harp but with more option than the 2nd position.

Tell me if all this sounds like arabian to you, I would choice the 5th position.

Well, level 4, 5 or 6 ? :)
