Audio:

This Live recording is from an outdoor concert played in 2001, on an outdoor venue (my band was the only performace as part of a "Concert in the Park" series) with estimated 1,100 people attedning. The recording was made by just plugging a tape machine into the sound board so there is some uneven balance due to the level of various amps being mic'd through PA. This was my band "Gabriel & The Technicians" from 1999 to 2009, primarily a Swing Dance Band but we played Blues Festivals in addition to Jazz festivals. With other stlyes in R&B, Jazz, Blues we covered many tpye gigs....Bass, Drums, Guitar, Piano, Female Vocals, myself on harp and then either 1 or 2 horns depending on gig.

I wrote Latin Moon in approx. 1997. Song is in Cm & Gm on the "B Part" (Chorus). Played in 3rd position Bb harp, then switch to G Nat Minor on B Section. Mic is vintage crystal, amps are a 1959 Fender Tweed Deluxe (real one) paired with a RI 1990 Fender Bassman, customized by Sonny Jr (who I have known since 1976). This version is pretty extended for the concert, my solo does not come until 5:30 into the song.
