Half Steppin

So here's Halfstepin. Lackluster in a lot of places… I think I need to add some dynamics, although a year ago I would've been happy with this recording, but not now. Any free advice?

Cool Blue

My main goal is to share how I recorded my submission.
I used my Super Champ X2 amp connected to my Mac book via the USB port and I selected it as input source in Garage Band. Fender provide a software (Fender Fuse) enabling access to knobs that are not on the amp. For this recording, I selected the Fender Bassman emulation.

1st upload, with my focus on controlling the notes breathing and to "hear" the band....... so easy to drift away from them with the repetition of a homestudio....... I hope you enjoy it.
