Blues For Big Nate ( no backing track)

Hello everyone. I post today "my version" of "Blues for Big Nate" from the great Jerry Portnoy. I play this tune with no backing track and I play the two first chorus of this theme note to note but I improvised after ( still trying to stay in the style of Portnoy). I really try to focus on the killer tone of Jerry Portnoy. I play with my old Turner microphone (crystal elment) and little fender champ 20 (and Marine band classic in A).

Cheers from France

Hello everyone, I try to play the tribute to Big Walter Horton (by David Barrett) Shakey's Shuffle. I use my Turner CM (with old crystal element) and a little Fender Champ 20. I do not exactly stick to the theme. May I have the opinion of David Barrett?Cheers from France

Hello Everyone. A modest version of classic "Scratch My Back" by the great Slim Harpo. It's very difficult to restitute the feeling relaxing of his playing but I tried.

Sorry for my english, cheers from France

Not a note for note cover, just tried to build off it impoving. I think its a good track to practice dynamics with.  I used a rebuilt stock Masco ME-18 , reconed p12q ,jt30 w/cr element, boss rv-5 reverb.

Just another classic Irish tune, "Ri' na Sio'ga". I also learned this one first on Mandolin in the key of D. This harmonica version is in the key of G, second position, played on a Seydel Session Steel with Major Cross tuning. Brian

With St.Patrick's Day coming up in a couple of weeks I thought I would share the classic Irish tune "Si Beag Si Mohr" by Turlough O'Carolan. I first learned this on Mandolin in the key of D. This version is in the key of G being played in first position on a Seydel Sailor Steel Tremolo Harmonica.

Hi,

I was invited to play a track at a Rn'R concert in a local pub. I was working on this theme which will be performed tomorrow. I got a bit tired with some parts playing tonight I hope it will be better tomorrow. I used F harp.

Thanks a'lot to Mr. David Barrett for his teaching instructions.

Listen with kind regards, Laszlo
