Cool, just the right amount of harp in the song.

75sec- Nice wampin,

135sec- great tone, 159sec- nice throat vibrato or tremolo, ( I still have to figure out these stuff on the lessons side. )

Thanks for analysing and

More gospel harmony

I am not qualified as a musician or a harmonica player to add much, but as a listener it is solid apart from the backing vocals. There is something lacking about the harmony and conviction.  Like it needs more confidence.  I don't know the maths but it is the wrong interval. Needs to be gospel...Soggy Bottom Boys...Praise De Lord!....something like that..that sort of don't give a damn if it's in tune call and reply sound.  Anyway...Great song.  And I do like the overall sound a lot.  The harp parts are spot on but you could get away with a bit of background chording at the end.

Good comment Dave- I am sure

Good comment Dave- I am sure that you are right about the backing needing more confidence. My first go at backing vocals you see and definitely something to work on- I think that it sounded better before the recorder was switched on! Thanks for listening and for your input.

Cool One

As a change up to a lot of harp, I agree. I feel we sometimes get too caught up with harp being there all the time. This way it has higher impact when it becomes a feature in a song. I like the vocals and the solo @1:15 is tastey and without harp fills in the vocals works well without being overkill. I would definitely add it to repertoire as presented here.

Thanks for the comment Hank-

Thanks for the comment Hank- always good to hear opinions about what I am doing with my little combo! Yes, less is sometimes more when it comes to harp although I'm not sure that the share section is about emphasising that and no wonder that not many folk have commented! Personally, this has given me a new challenge in terms of working on backing vocals which is an exciting/daunting prospect in itself!

Very nice, if you want you

Very nice, if you want you could think to add some harp in the second part of the song, but it's a taste fact.

Thank you Luckyharp! I agree

Thank you Luckyharp! I agree that there could be more harp behind the ad libbed vocals at the end although I quite like that there might not be too. Playing some numbers with minimal or no harp can add to the impact sometimes in a set. I think it will come down to how comfortable I am with the backing vocals in a live situation- it surprised me how intimidating it felt even just recording in a bedroom!
