Im working on Accompaniment Study in Section 4 and see in 7th bar of the second Verse a Bb/Db(c#) shake.  Help me out there.  A shake from a bend seems like something we have not covered.  In fact a Db appears to be an overbend off the 5 blow or something.  Please help.

Gary

Hello Gary. To practice this,

Hello Gary. To practice this, play 3 draw, then 3' bend, and then back to 3 draw. Do this a couple of times to memorize the feel in your mouth for the bend. Now play this as a shake... you will do the same bending motion (with the tongue) to create the bend in the shake.
