I am working on Level 4 - Improvising Study.

For A B/A C chorus form, you ask for the 3rd example to use the "Sequence" technique.  You indicate to go to Blues Music Theory section to learn how to do this. I can not find that lesson on the site.  Can you indicate where exactly I can locate that section?   Thank you.

Hello kurtmari99. You'll find this in Music Theory Study 4, Section 3. Here's the link to the lesson: https://www.bluesharmonica.com/lessons/music_theory_study_4_melodic_development_part_1

Sequence - Folllow Up Question

For the "A" part of the song I am using a combination of these 3 notes on my B Flat Harmonica

5 Draw (E Flat), 5 Blow (D) and 4 Draw (C).   Would the corresponding notes for the B part of the song be:  7 Blow (B Flat), 7 Draw (A) and 6 Draw (G)?   If not, what would be the correct notes?

Hello kurtmari99. I will

Hello kurtmari99.

I will speak as if you're playing a C Harmonica in the Key of G (2nd Position), since this is what we do for all of the lessons on the site.

Your I7 lick is 5 5+ 4, which is F E D, which is flat-7th, 6th, 5th

Now we work backwards....

Scale degrees we know are flat-7th, 6th, 5th which gives us Bb A G for the IV7. This fits well as 3' 3" 2.
