Hello Everybody; This is my second week doing the course and I am enjoying it.I have been playing for 6 month using the pucker method so now it is a challenge to switch to the tongue blocking method but i am sticking with for the moment. The harp that used to use was a Marine Bank Classic in C and now for two weeks I have been using a Special 20 in A for the course. I just played ¨Walk with Me¨ with the Marine Band (in C) and I found it an easier breather. I feel that the special 20 offers more resistance when I breath on it. Is it because they are different keys (A vs C) or the design makes the difference? What is your take on this? Thanks

Higher key harps tend to be

Higher key harps tend to be more responsive than lower keys, especially in the low octave, However I also found Marine Band easier to play than Special 20 when I began playing one and a half year ago. This difference will soon wanish as you make some progress.

Thanks for the replay.

I also find the MB easier to hold.

Might go get a MB in G to continue with the course....

Well, I bought 10 different

Well, I bought 10 different harmonicas in 4 different keys (5 A, 2 G, 2 C and 1 D) during my first year because I hoped they may be better and easier to play. Every harp is a bit different and some of them reallly helped me to learn a particular technique easier than others, but now I can play all of them equally easily. So perhaps, instead of buying and trying, I could simply practice more and the result would be the same :-)
