Hello Everyone,

If you happen to be on the bottom end of a Jam List, or maybe a guest player with a loud band on their last set ... do yourself a favor and wear ear production.

Being assaulted by volume during a long wait, I found that if I do not protect my ears--by the time I get onto the bandstand--my ability to hear myself play has degraded significantly. I begin to blow harder into the harmonica, my mind thinking it will increase my volume, but of course it does not. Invariably this ends the night with ringing ears and a busted reed ... UGH!

Earasers, Etymotic Research and Banana are three proven ear plugs that work well; in fact, a few musicians I know perform with these in their ears the entire gig.
