Has anyone out there figured out how to play something acceptable for San Francisco Bay Blues. I could use some ideas. I am playing it, (well, sort of), in 2nd position and there are a couple of places where nothing is available, to my ear. Help ifn ya can.

Old-Timey Blues

mtnhank: The tune uses the II7, III7 and VI7 chords in the manner of some of the early trad jazz-style blues. Try the tune in first position and see what happens.

SF Bay Blues in 1st position

Thanks UkuleleRob65. I have tried it some in 1st position and got about as far as I did with 2nd position. I will keep pecking away at it and as I progress it will get better.

If you have to play it in a set

If you have to play it this is the best I've heard it played on harp.

Dave Earl was also interviewed by Dave on this site if your interested.
