David,
Listening to my latest submission I was dismayed by how poor my rythym was...I find it very difficult to count 1-2-3-4..while trying to learn where the notes are and keep up with the sound trac.

are you going to have any lessons on this later?
Thank you...

Answer

Your best tool on rhythm is to record yourself playing a passage (one line or one chorus) and listen carefully to the original and then yours... make notes and adjust... rinse and repeat until the passage sounds closer to the original. We ALL struggle with rhythm, but recording is how we deal with it. When you submit your material I can also tell you where the areas are that need help.
