I just finished watching "Recording Study 3 - Home Studio" and it has me wondering if that is the recording process that you would like for your LOA submissions? Up until now I have just been recording my best take. This usually involves the need to start over and over until I get my best recording, then come back on another recording session until I have a few takes to choose from. I think the process that you lined out in the tutorial would be a lot better.

Hello topherschilling. It is

Hello topherschilling. It is best to do your best take (great practice). Also, some small errors are fine (I can tell when something is a simple mistake at the time of the recording and an error in your technique). With that said, if you're recording, and most of it is good, and you just have a small section(s) that needs to be rerecorded, then go for the punch-in record method. When you submit your recording, tell me what sections they were (though usually I can tell), and this will help inform my tips back to you.
